Three lucky winners were matched with rentals during a lottery this afternoon at CB Town Hall!

Today’s winners represent a variety of jobs that serve the community, including employees from the Post Office, Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Secret Stash, Adaptive Sports Center, Eleven Experience, and Crested Butte Community School programs.

The Valley Housing Fund worked with the Gunnison Valley Regional Housing Authority to qualify full-time local workers to rent these homes. Each home requires a minimum of two residents who fit this criteria.

Each winner will have five days to decide if they want to keep the home they won in the lottery. If any winner chooses not to move forward with renting the unit they won, then it will be offered to the first alternate.

The Paul Redden Workforce Rentals include three individual manufactured houses with a total of eight bedrooms – two 3 bed/2 bath and one 2 bed/2 bath. Each pet-friendly home is on its own lot, and has a front and back entrance, a 100 sq. ft. storage shed, and 2 off-street parking spaces. The anticipated move-in date is December 1st.
