Our Values

Since 2010, VHF has directly and indirectly created affordable housing by working with local government, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. This has primarily been accomplished through financial support of costs related to site planning, master planning, infrastructure, construction, and management of affordable properties. VHF also acquires land to develop its own affordable housing projects. 

Partnership

VHF recognizes that no single entity or solution will solve the housing crisis, and the best approach is through partnership and cooperation.

Advocacy

Our organization believes communication plays a critical role in advocating for low and middle income residents and VHF strives to engage all segments of the community in solutions.

Sustainability

We acknowledge the environmental effects of development and make decisions about materials and construction to minimize impacts.
