Anthracite Place | Town of Crested Butte

Background

Anthracite Place is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) apartment complex in downtown Crested Butte. VHF was a major contributor to this project, providing both an initial grant which helped pay for the land purchase and a low interest loan to assist with  construction costs. This building includes 24 one-bedroom and 6 two-bedroom apartment rentals and is income restricted to 60% AMI and below. It is designed to be energy efficient per Enterprise Green standards.
